Lenovo announced the launch of an improved version of its K869 smartphone. The new model doesn’t boast any major changes in terms of design and dimensions, but it brings improvements when it comes to the hardware performance.
The new Lenovo K860i comes with a quad-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.6 GHz compared to the 1.4 GHz CPU from the first model. As well, the K860i comes with 2 GB of RAM (1 GB on the previous model) and 16 GB of internal storage, writes GSM Arena.
The display remained the same, a 5-inch HD unite, so did the camera units, 2 megapixels on the front, and 8 megapixels on the back of the smartphone.
Lenovo K860i is powered by a 2,250 mAh battery and is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
For the time being there are not details about the price or its availability. After a quick glance at the technical specifications, the Lenovo K860i has the likes to become a popular smartphone, but the price will be very important, as well.
